The Genetic Outlaws

The band consists of a group of "genetic outlaws" (blinds, spastics, dwarfs). They are playing rock music and with their expressive and joyful show they remind us all of the necessity to accept individual differences if we really want to build a society equal to all.

The Genetic Outlaws: Hans Jørgen Møller, Søren Høg, Vibeke Baden Laursen and Kim Preuthun.

Art at LO-skolen

LO-skolen has an impressive collection of art. It is mainly composed of paintings from the period starting around 1950 and till today. It contains the works of e.g. Heerup, Carl Henning Petersen, Trampedach and Asger Jorn. All together LO-skolen has more than 1.000 pieces of modern Danish art.

The participants had the opportunity to study the exposed paintings, sculptures and others on a guided tour around LO-skolen.

Betty Quast

Betty participated in Forum as a German delegate. The location of the Forum at Elsinore, with its vicinity of Kronborg castle, the setting of Shakespeare’s famous play, were so inspiring to Betty that on the ferry back to Germany, she started writing a set of poems about Hamlet and Ophelia, called “Helsingør”.

We are thankful  that she allowed us to use them in this publication.

Helsingør, German (pdf)
Helsingør, English (pdf)

As it turned out that Betty furthermore  is a gifted singer and music composer, we are delighted to contribute a sample of her music here too:

Die Zeit der Rosen (mp3)
Seemanslied (mp3)
